disposable cameras are still a thing

When I was living in Scotland, I had a lot of international friends who reintroduced me to disposable cameras where they had bought them from a local Kodak shop.  I remembered using them a lot as a kid where my mom would let my sister and I buy them for family vacations and we could take pictures of whatever we wanted.  Nowadays I use my phone, just like everyone else, and we get to see our pictures right away, which is definitely a benefit.  However, getting back to using these camera now, it makes me more excited to see all the memories I captured awhile back.  I like the surprise it brings. I like the idea of thinking what it is going to turn out as, and I also love the way the photos look.
